A night of stories, sips, and strolls - a fundraising event for the Cedar Falls Library

Check-in: 5-6:00 PM, Cedar Falls Community Center
Pub Crawl Time: 5:30–9 PM
Location: Historic Downtown Cedar Falls - starting at the Community Center
Cost: $15 donation (Friends members) / $20 donation (non-members)

Join us for an unforgettable evening exploring downtown Cedar Falls with book-themed beverages, literary fun, and good company.

Enjoy stops at your favorite Main Street locations, each transformed to reflect a beloved book. Sip on discounted themed drinks at every stop, soak up the atmosphere, and celebrate your love of literature in style (costumes HIGHLY encouraged, but not required!).

Costume Contest & Prizes

Show off your literary flair! Come dressed as your favorite book character for a chance to win. The costume contest will be judged at check-in by three guest judges: Kelly Stern (Director of the Cedar Falls Public Library), Danny Laudick (Mayor of Cedar Falls), Cory Hurless (Cultural Events Supervisor for the Hearst Center).

Drawing for visiting 5 out of 8 pub stops (no purchase required!)

The goal of the Literary Pub Crawl is to raise revenue in support of the Cedar Falls Public Library while engaging the community in a fun experience. This event aims to increase awareness of the library’s mission and strengthen connections with the Friends of the Library. Proceeds will support library programming, outreach, and future literary events.
